Shipping Times

Evans Lane strives to provide our customers with immediate shipping, whenever possible. To ensure prompt delivery, many items will ship directly from the supplier, so shipping times will vary. With the exception of freight and custom orders, most in-stock, warehouse items will process and ship within 3-5 days, with the approximate delivery time being an additional 3-5 business days after shipment. Whenever possible, shipping estimations are noted below under Manufacturer’s Policies.

Shipping Carriers

Evans Lane ships most orders via USPS, FedEx, or UPS, with tracking information.

Freight Shipments

If you are placing an order for an oversized and/or heavy item(s), such as outdoor furniture sets, your order may ship via freight. Freight shipment companies will vary according to the supplier. Basic freight services include economy shipping to the address provided at checkout. If additional services are required, such as a lift gate or inside (white glove) delivery, please make note of that in the order comments section at checkout, and we will contact you to arrange those services. Additional fees may apply.

Please provide an accurate phone number and address at checkout — you will be contacted by the freight carrier to schedule an appointment for delivery. If the freight carrier is unable to make contact with you to schedule the delivery in a timely manner, you will be responsible for paying the expense of any additional storage fees that occur, prior to receiving your item. Should you refuse to cover additional costs incurred, you will forfeit your right to the merchandise purchased, along with any monies paid towards the purchase and delivery of said item.

Rush Shipments

All Evans Lane orders ship via ground services unless otherwise noted. If you require a rush shipment, or if you have a specific deadline that you need to meet, please contact Evans Lane about the order you wish to place at info@evanslane.com, and be sure to include your desired delivery date. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Additional rush shipment charges may apply. Rush shipment dates are estimated based on information obtained by the supplier. Evans Lane does not assume any liability or incurred costs for deviations from this estimation which are caused by delays from the supplier.

Tracking

Evans Lane makes every effort to provide timely and accurate shipping status and tracking information on all purchases, to include freight shipments. However, our ability to provide this information is dependent on the supplier. All customers will receive an email notification of shipment, to include tracking (as available) when an item ships. Please ensure that you provide an accurate email address at checkout.

White Glove Service

For all freight shipments, Evans Lane is happy to offer our “white glove” delivery services which is not included in the standard delivery.
Along with the standard shipment of your purchase, White Glove Service can include:

  • Packing material removal
  • Assembly of your product(s)
  • Placement of your product(s) in your backyard

30 Day Return Policy

At Evans Lane, we understand that the purchase of furniture and home decor represents a significant investment and we strive to ensure the complete satisfaction of all customers. Should a product you purchase from us not match your expectations or needs, Evans Lane offers a conditional 30 day return policy to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage a worry-free shopping experience.

As always, while your return is being processed, our customer service team will be happy to help you shop our site for alternative furniture and decor options that might better match your personal style preferences.

Not all items are eligible for returns and customers may be responsible for restocking fees or other fees associated with their return. Only products in “Like New" condition will be eligible for returns. Items must be postmarked for return within 30 days of delivery to the customer to be eligible for a refund.

“Like New" condition is defined as:

  • An undamaged item in the original, unmarked packaging
  • An item that has not been installed or modified
  • An item that includes all additional parts, accessories, and instruction manuals

To complete a return through Evans Lane, please execute the following steps:

  1. Have your order number ready and contact us by phone at 866-845-8485 (toll free) or by email at info@evanslane.com. Our customer service team will promptly review your order and create a Return Case, answering any questions you may have.
  2. A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number will be issued by the manufacturer within 7-10 business days of the ignition of the return. At this point, you must package your item for return shipping.
  3. Pack and Ship Your Item(s)
  • Ensure the item is well packed in its original packaging
  • Attach the return label to the outside of the box
  • Do not write on or mark on the box in any way other than to attach the return label
  • We will monitor the return and handle any shipping issues that arise
  • Once received by the manufacturer, returned items will be inspected to verify their “like new" condition. Once “like-new" condition is confirmed we will process your credit associated with your return. Credit returns generally take less than 10 days to process, but may take as longer depending on a particular case. You will be refunded via the same method by which the returned product(s) was originally purchased.

Return Fees and Procedures

All small items ship via FedEx (or UPS in certain cases). Evans Lane will issue a prepaid a FedEx return shipping label by email. Your packaged and labeled return may be dropped off at any FedEx location or you may call 1-800-GOFEDEX to have your package picked up. Return shipping labels expire 2 weeks after the date of issue and will not be reissued by Evans Lane. It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange for the return of items before the expiration of issued shipping labels. Tracking information for your package will be provided, and you may monitor your return online while it is in transit. Evans Lane will be responsible for any damages or lost shipments incurred during return shipping. All large items ship by freight carrier. Evans Lane will coordinate with you and the freight company to determine a date and time for pick-up of large items. You are responsible to be physically present at the time of pick-up. Freight companies selected to retrieve products for return will be chosen at the discretion of Evans Lane.

Restocking Fees and Return Shipping Costs

If items are delivered in good condition and customer still chooses to return the product, 25% restocking fees and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund for the return of undamaged, non-defective, “Like New" items.

Problems With Your Return

Filing a Dispute

Due to transit times, manufacturer’s practices, and other processes, some returns may take longer to process than others. In the case of a long return process, we ask that you are patient and understanding of our need to abide by particular quality control methods before issuing your return. We do not recommend filing a charge back from your credit card company, as we will not be able to credit you for your return until the charge back mediation process has been completed. In some cases charge back cases can take up to 180 days to resolve, and an open charge back case may void your eligibility to receive return credit of any kind.

Damaged Returned Item(s)

If an item(s) is returned and determined not to be in "Like-New" condition, Evans Lane reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 50% of the purchase price as well as return shipping charges.

Item Returned Without an RGA

Items returned without an RGA are subject to an automatic 50% restocking fee and based on the item, may be denied.

Exceptions and Items not Eligible for Return

Unfortunately, certain items purchased from Evans Lane are not eligible for returns. The following items, and returns received under the following conditions, will be ineligible for a return or refund credit:

  • Replacement cushions are made to order and therefore are not eligible to be returned. Due to this policy from the manufacturer, we request you contact our sales team to verify you are ordering the correct cushions.
  • Item that have been assembled, installed, modified or used in any way
  • Items without their original packaging Items postmarked for return 30 days or more after the date of delivery (unless approved by Evans Lane)
  • Items with an expired RGA (RGAs expire after 10 business days. To return an item with an expired RGA, a new RGA number must be acquired. Applications for new RGAs may be denied)
  • Custom Furniture Items: Furniture items where customer chooses the fabric and/or finish at the time of the checkout process
  • Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or international addresses
  • Open Box Items: Items that are marked as (OPENBOX) in the description are not refundable
  • Samples are not refundable. We will apply the cost of a sample order to the purchase of the full size product. Some samples will need to be shipped back to the manufacturer for this credit to apply
  • Items that are made-to-order with modifications not normally done by the manufacturer at the customer’s request

Beyond Borders

Item ships directly from the supplier. Items from this supplier are custom made and ship within 2 weeks. Transit times vary depending on freight method used. Customer will be provided tracking information when the item is ready to ship.

Merchandise returned for reasons other than damage is subject to a 15% restocking fee. All return requests must be made within seven days of receipt.

Byer of Maine

Item ships directly from the supplier. In-stock items typically ship within three business days. Transit times vary depending on freight method used. Customer will be provided tracking information when the item is ready to ship.

Returns for reasons other than product defect are accepted within 30 days of original purchase date. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge to defray the cost of handling and repackaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We highly recommend you insure all return shipments and use a trackable shipping method, as refunds will not be issued for items damaged or lost during the return process.

Evans Lane

Garson Jasper

Item ships directly from supplier. Items from this supplier are custom made and ship within 2 weeks. Transit times vary depending on freight method used. Customer will be provided tracking information when item is ready to ship.

At Garson Jasper we take the utmost care to ensure our products are of the highest quality. If an item should arrive defective or not as expected, please let us know immediately upon receipt. Unused items are eligible for a refund within 15 calendar days of order delivery. Items should be returned new, unused, and with the Garson Jasper tags still attached. Returns that have been used will not be accepted.

Grace Graffiti

Each item is custom made after an order is placed. Typical lead time for an item to ship is three weeks. Grace Graffiti only accepts returns or exchanges due to manufacturing defects.

Hiland

Item ships directly from supplier. In-stock items typically ship within three business days. Transit times vary depending on freight method used. Customer will be provided tracking information when item is ready to ship.

Provided item is in new and saleable condition, returns are accepted in the original packaging within 30 days of the date of shipment. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

OFYR

Item ships directly from supplier. In-stock items typically ship within three business days. Transit times vary depending on freight method used. Customer will be provided tracking information when item is ready to ship.

Peak Season

Items ship directly from supplier. Small parcel, in-stock items typically ship within three business days. Furniture set orders typically ship in 4 weeks. Transit times vary depending on freight method used. Customer will be provided tracking information when items are ready to ship.

Other than in cases of damage or manufacturing defect, it is Peak Season’s policy not to accept returns. Prior to purchase, if you have any questions regarding Peak Season’s policies, please contact us at info@evanslane.com .

SPI

SPI Home make every effort to ship your order quickly. All orders are shipped directly from their warehouse in South San Francisco, California. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery of items in stock. Please note that items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together.

Report all claims to SPI Customer Service within 30 days of receipt of shipment. Credit will only be given for returned merchandise when prior authorization has been obtained directly from SPI.

West of the Wind
